Church Website

Understand how the public Sundeo Church Website works and how it can connect to Church Management.

Public website and private Church Management

A Sundeo Church Website is the church’s public-facing website. It is separate from the private Church Management application, but the two can work together as one connected Sundeo ecosystem.

The public site can contain church pages, Ministries, Staff, Sermons and Series, Announcements, service information, media, and other visitor-facing content configured by the church.

Website editing

Website administrators can work with text, images, buttons, page sections, navigation, media, branding, Ministries, Staff, Sermons, Series, Announcements, and other supported site content. Pages and sections can be added and reordered so the site is not limited to the starter layout.

Calendar connection

Open Sundeo Feature Settings → Calendar/Events when the church website should use Sundeo Church Management as the source for public event information. After the connection is active, the website can use synchronized Sundeo events for its Upcoming Events and Calendar sections instead of requiring duplicate event entry.

The website refreshes the connected Calendar automatically approximately twice each day. Use Sync Now when changes should appear immediately; a manual sync also restarts the next normal automatic synchronization window.

Website address and branding

The site can use its assigned Sundeo-hosted website address and, when eligible, a custom church domain. Church branding can include the church logo, colors, images, backgrounds, and other design choices available in the website editor.
