View upcoming events
The Calendar brings church-wide events, Group/Class events, recurring Services, special Service dates, and Service Planning into one connected schedule.
The Upcoming Events strip shows the next events coming up. When you are viewing the current month, it can continue showing events from future months so you do not lose sight of what is ahead. When viewing an earlier month, the strip changes to show past events.
Open an event
Select an event to review its available details, including featured image, date or multi-day date range, start/end time, location, Group or Class, cancellation status, and any connected Service Plan.
All-day events hide unnecessary time information, and optional rows such as time or location stay hidden when no value was entered.
Personal reminders
Supported events include Remind Me so you can create a personal event reminder. Recurring service-schedule entries do not use the normal personal event reminder option.
Recurring Services and special dates
Normal recurring church Services can appear on Calendar automatically from the church’s Service schedule. A Service Plan for that date connects to the normal Service occurrence without requiring a duplicate event.
An individual Service date can also be changed into a special event—for example Easter, Homecoming, a revival service, or another special service. That occurrence can use its own title, color, featured image, and Service Plan without changing the rest of the recurring Service schedule.
Who can create events?
Administrators can create church-wide events and events for any Group or Class. Leads can create and manage events for the Groups and Classes they are assigned to lead. Users can view the events available to them and use personal reminders where supported.
